Cornell Apartments is a historic three-story building in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was built in 1910 by W.C.A. Vissing, an immigrant from Denmark who became "one of the most active developers of apartment buildings in Salt Lake City during the pre-World War I period". [2] It was designed in the Colonial Revival and Classical Revival styles. [2]
The apartment building was built for about $80,000 and its apartments were advertised as "Splendid 3-room apartments, equipped with electric ranges and electric refrigeration. $40.00 to $42.00. One of the most modernly equipped and conveniently located apartments in the city." [2]: 4–5 The apartments were renovated in 2007.
The north-south line begins at the Salt Lake City Intermodal Hub (Salt Lake Central) in the western part of Downtown Salt Lake City and runs south to the center of Draper.
