The council generally meets at Warrington Town Hall on Sankey Street. The building was originally built in 1750 as a large house, and was formerly called Bank Hall. It was bought by the borough council in 1870 and converted into a town hall, with its grounds becoming a public park. [22]

In 1870 John Wilson-Patten, 1st Baron Winmarleigh, sold the hall to Warrington Borough Council for £9000 (equivalent to £1,090,000 in 2023), [8] and 13 acres (5.3 ha) of surrounding land for a further £15,000 (equivalent to £1,810,000 in 2023). [8] Almost all of the land was opened as Warrington's first public park in 1873. [9]

Florence is an unincorporated community in Morgan County, Missouri, United States. [1] It is located eight miles south of U.S. Route 50 on Missouri Route 135 . A post office called Florence has been in operation since 1839. [ 2 ]
