Well, I kinda have to disagree a bit there. Gouken was a Street Fighter character LONG BEFORE Gouki/Akuma was made. He was introduced in the Street Fighter II manga by Masahiko Nakahira long before Super Turbo was made and then canonize into the series' backstory in Akuma's backstory. Dan Hibiki (Japanese: 火引 弾, Hepburn: Hibiki Dan) is a character from Capcom's Street Fighter fighting game franchise. He was created to parody Ryo Sakazaki and Robert Garcia, the two lead characters of SNK's Art of Fighting series, as Capcom saw Ryo as a ripoff of Street Fighter characters Ryu and Ken.
