The campus in Lancaster is the center of a six-county region (Chester, Chesterfield, Fairfield, Lancaster, Kershaw, and York) in the north central piedmont of South Carolina. The college began holding classes in the Williams House in downtown Lancaster in September 1959, but by the mid-1960s growth forced it to find a larger facility.
On 12 March 1856, the Medical Society of the state of California held its first meeting at Pioneer Hall on "J" Street in what is now Old Town Sacramento. The society's first president, Benjamin Franklin Keene, M.D.—also a state senator representing El Dorado County—led the meeting of 1875.

WKNH (91.3 FM, "Keene 91.3 FM") is a student-run radio station licensed to serve Keene, New Hampshire. [1] The station is owned by Keene State College. KSC airs a college radio format. [3] The WKNH studios are located on the third floor of the Young Student Center on the Keene State College campus. [1]
