Hello Sig Forum, I'm looking to buy another magazine for my P232 but they're not made anymore and all I can find is a magazine made by ProMag. I read a few reviews and they weren't that great. Does anybody know of any other brands available as I can't find anything on the internet. Thanks.
If anyone is interested in an original SIG Sauer P230 stainless steal magazine there is a buyer on eBay that has one brand new never used one left for $125 OBO. Shipping is free. Price is high but even at auction they are going for $100 or more plus shipping. Since it was listed as Buy Now/OBO he did accept about 25% less for the one I bought.
Sig P232 Magazine. So I just got a great deal on a near mint sig P232 for 350$. My only problem is that it only has one mag with it. Ive been looking around and holy **** Ebay is the only place I can find them and the cheapest ones are like 75 per. I have gone on to Numrich and tried to buy all the parts but they dont have mag bodies in stock.
S. sixsigma Discussion starter. 2 posts · Joined 2012. #1 · Dec 4, 2012. New guy on the block. Recently purchased a new-in-box P230 in 32 caliber to go along with my P232 stainless in .380. Trying to locate another magazine for the 32 caliber. Tried numerous sites but came up empty-handed.
Welcome to Sig Talk, from the southwest corner of Indiana. There are some "aftermarket" magazines from during the P230/P232 pistol's "heyday", that could explain it. Pro Mag, and I believe Triple K were 2 manufacturers. P230 and P232 magazines were in some cases different, but interchangeable if memory serves me correctly.
P230 Details: 1) P230 began production in Europe by Sig Sauer in 1977. 2) P230 was first imported to the US in 1985. 3) P230 has 11 smaller angled slide serrations. 4) 3.6” barrel. 5) P232 was produced in 3 calibers: 9mm Browning Short/.380 ACP, 7.65mm Browning/.32 CAL., & 9x18mm Police (No longer produced).
The only ones that won't work are the Sub-Compact mags. Any mag that is meant for compact or larger will work, but for a flush fit, your X-Compact grip requires the newer magazine floorplate and floorplate insert with the square at the bottom.
