CapMetro Bus is the bus public transit service of the Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority of Austin, Texas and serves Austin and the surrounding areas. MetroBus services include 82 standard routes and 15 high-frequency bus routes as of August 2021 [update] .

CapMetro Express services are limited stop bus services that run between Downtown Austin and the far suburbs. Express routes are designated as routes 900–999 and are served by buses in the red Express livery (though on occasions they may be served by buses in the regular CapMetro Bus livery as well).

The former station seen in 2012. Construction began in August 2008 and concluded in November of that year. [5] On June 2, 2019, the Downtown station temporarily closed so that construction on an expanded station (three-track, two-platform) could commence; it was later reopened in early November of that year, but without Saturday service until the end of 2019.
