Ah! Thank you for the additional explanation. That makes more sense now. To my knowledge, there is no Canvas app for you to download on your Windows 10 laptop. Just download either the Mozilla Firefox or the Google Chrome web browser (I prefer Chrome) to your laptop, and then sign in to Canvas using your school's Canvas URL.
I just got a new macbook (the other one was on loan from a friend) and now suddenly can't download it. The reason I originally downloaded the app on my last computer was because the browser version wouldn't allow me to upload images into my weekly discussion posts - it was only when I downloaded the app that I was able to use Canvas without issue.
