If you have a URL (web page) link, you can add it to the title part of the citation, so that when you add the citation to Wikipedia the URL becomes hidden and the title becomes clickable. Write in a professional tone; avoid loaded language. Add citations as you go. This is much easier than writing first and trying to remember later where you found each piece of information. You don't have to write the article all at once! Save your progress frequently, with an appropriate edit summary. The Publish button saves your progress.

And if there's a summary or abstract of the source that's free (and has a link to the full, access-restricted content), it's okay for you to link to the shorter, free information, which all readers can view.
