So for me it was definitely worth it to finance with Ford and then re-fi before making any payments. Making those extra 4 payments to Ford would have cost me a lot, and I still would have had to pay an additional 60 payments with my credit union (they don't offer 56-month auto loans- only 36, 48, 60, 72, etc.).
