I have done both. I think Weight Watchers is better because you get to eat like a normal person and you get good nutrition. Slim Fast works too, but you don't get to eat that much (especially if you are only drinking the shakes) and look at the ingredients in a shake.....LOTS of sugar. Good luck! lroger01 Posts: 1.

Anyway, she told me the 3 keys to lasting weight loss, as supported by some studies (I forget the names) were: 1) keeping a food diary, 2) exercise 3-5X per week, even if it was only 10 minutes at a time to start with, and 3) support system/support group. I have lost all my weight on WW.

  9. Weight watchers points system and starvation mode

Weight Watchers gives you the extra points (I think its 35) a week to use how you want, where you want. If you spread them out over the 7 days youd be at roughly 1250 calories a day. Also, weight watchers lets you eat calories from exercise. I would stick with it.

  10. Weight Watchers points equal how many calories?

    community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/743620/weight-watchers-points-equal...

April 2013. The comment about 1400 Cal being 29 points assumes the 49 weekly points are included. So you have 29 plus 49/7, or 29 plus 7 = 36. Then 36 points x 39 Calories = 1404 Calories. The comments about 50 Calories per point refer to the total Calories you can have each day, including fruits and veggies.

January 2015 in Health and Weight Loss I went to WW for two and a half years and lost 4st 13lb (69lb) with them. I know that they are successful and wouldn't want to criticise the work they do, but I have now moved over to this site and wanted to give my first impressions and possibly ask a question or two.
