Glendale is an unincorporated community in Pope County, Illinois, United States. Glendale is located on Illinois Route 145, 5.5 miles (8.9 km) southwest of Eddyville.
The community stepped in to stop the demolition [1] and in 2008 the City of Glendale purchased Rockhaven for about $8.25 million with the intent to open the property to the public for use as a community park. [20] In February 2016, the site was being considered by the City of Glendale for "adaptive reuse."
