What are these magnet fishing finds? We are Magnet Fishing in Ohio right now in a very rural area and found these. Someone stopped and said the long one in the middle is a surgical rasp for performing hip replacements.....if anyone knows what any of these are it would be appreciated.
I went out magnet fishing with my buddy Jeff when we decided to head 5-6 hours over to Ohio, where we didn't find much at first until someone gave us a few tips on places to try! My buddy Jeff ended up finding a Flintlock Rifle, potentially from the mid-late 1800s!
So a magnet would get you metal but not precious metal like gold & silver. I've had most bucket list finds ie bombs, guns, knives, bullets, safes etc etc my fav find has to be a 1788 officers Sabre and weirdest was an Afolf H bust in a lake in Hampshire. Been in the papers lots of times and TV news articles.
