Snares are the best sets for cats-very humane,quick dispatch,allow for extended checks which allows you to run more sets over more ground,unaffected by the elements, and its not uncommon to catch a bunch at once per set. Joined: Feb 2016. Posts: 3,883. Kentucky. Speaking for myself, the Sleepy Creek 1.75 coil, closed jaw with round pan is the most versatile....It's really a #2 coil with a jaw spread identical to a Victor 3N longspring. Much tougher than a Duke or Victor coil, and much less expensive than MB's.

Most all commercial urine has been bulk stored /strained / filtered then bottled. That urine is typically collected from a herd animal source.

My brother caught his biggest bobcat ever in a 1.5 and it held him without a problem. I'd suggest using #1.5, $1.75, or #2 cs for bobcats. No need buy big traps for these animals unless you have 40+ pound cats!
Bobcat Appeal: When trapping bobcats, use a visual aid to help get it to your set location. The bobcat depends on its eyesight a great deal when hunting and this can be taken advantage of. First I'd pick a good location for a set, then I'd find a lone branch to hang my attractor from, and put the set fairly close to the visual attractor.
