    dr1.com/forums/threads/banreservas-accessing-account-over-the-internet.124137

Does anyone know if a person with a USD denominated savings account with BanReservas can access account information, e.g., account balance and deposit/withdrawal information, over the Internet? It would be helpful to ascertain the process for obtaining this, if it exists. Thanks.

I don't need any prestamos, I don't open any 'certificates' either, so I can't say anything about that, but for my regular banking needs they work fine. Yes, sometimes some technical errors in their internet banking or app or their system in general ara annoying, but once again, tell me which bank in DR don't have technical problems once in a ...

  5. Need a Dominican bank that is affiliated to the IBAN-system

    dr1.com/forums/threads/need-a-dominican-bank-that-is-affiliated-to-the-iban...

Wow, Mauricio. Interesting to learn that BanReservas accounts actually do have IBAN. Everyone I have spoken to at BanReservas keep telling me that I only need to use their Swift code (BRRDDOSD) and the "IBAN" of their bank to send money from Sweden. The "IBAN" they try to give me is, according to these morons, 200-01- and then my account number.

  6. Watch Your Money! D.R. Bank Fraud And/Or Incompetence

It is the most insecure way to do your banking, especially in a developing country like the Dominican Republic which has very weak cyber security infrastructure. Storing your debit card information on an application for easy payments is a bad idea. I've had a Banreservas savings account since 2013. I always do my banking in person. Zero problems.

  7. Banresearvas Opens Branch in NYC & Miami | DR1.com

    dr1.com/forums/threads/banresearvas-opens-branch-in-nyc-miami.407969

Banreservas open only the NYC office. The one in Miami will open some time in October. The way the title is written, one could think both offices were open at the same time. Considering there was an event when they open the office in Madrid and again in New York, I think it's likely one will be done with the opening of the Miami office.

    dr1.com/forums/threads/banco-popular-v-bhd.412037

Completely agree. I have had it with Popular, absolutely useless. Even when one of their directors had to get involved, they were still useless. I'm with Scotiabank now, I have an excellent guy who deals with me. He is surrounded by useless people but he is wonderful. And their internet banking and app are also much better than Popular's.

  10. Credit Card fraud still charged to us after BanReservas review

    dr1.com/forums/threads/credit-card-fraud-still-charged-to-us-after-banreservas...

We have had a case of credit card fraud in the DR using a BanReservas Credit Card. Fraudulent charges were made, detected and protested to BanReservas. BanReservas ruled against us, saying the charges were made by us in places we never went to in Santiago. We were charged about 50,000 pesos over this and I doubt we will be able to recover it.
