It is a spoof of the controversial 1962 documentary Mondo Cane , showing people doing weird stunts (the logo for Mr. Mike's Mondo Video copies the original Mondo Cane logo).

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 2 (also known as National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 2: Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure) is a 2003 American made-for-television comedy film. It is the only film in the Vacation franchise not to star Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo as Clark and Ellen Griswold respectively.
In 1960, he approached his colleagues Franco Prosperi and Paolo Cavara with the unusual idea of making an "anti-documentary". [2] The result, which premiered in 1962, was Mondo Cane (which roughly translates to A Dog's World, a minor curse in Italian), a non-narrative compilation of shocking and unusual footage from around the world.
