UiTM Faculty of Law is one of the professional graduate faculties of UiTM and is located in Shah Alam, Malaysia. It is among the notable public premier law school in Malaysia. The current Dean of the faculty is Dr. Hartini Saripan, who assumed the role in 2018. The faculty currently consists of some 100 academic staff.
It started by providing courses in Civil Engineering at the Diploma level for Institiut Teknologi MARA. Students who have completed the Diploma were given options to continue their studies to obtain a Higher National Diploma. When ITM is granted a full university status, all diplomas issued by ITM have been upgraded to an undergraduate degree.
The ITM business schools offer a 2-year full-time AICTE Post Graduate Diploma in Management program. They include: ITM Business School, Bengaluru in Bengaluru, Karnataka, established in 1992 [2] ITM University, Raipur in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, established in 2012 [3] ITM Business School, Chennai, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, established in 1993 [4]
On 4 October 2010, it was upgraded to a college by the Executive Committee of UiTM. With the upgrade, the college was renamed as International Education College and given a redesigned logo. [2] However, it retains its acronym INTEC and motto, Distinctly Global. In 2014, INTEC has been privatised and no longer part of Universiti Teknolgi Mara (UiTM)
