Turtlecreek Township is one of the eleven townships of Warren County, Ohio, United States. It is in the central part of the county and surrounds the county seat of Lebanon. Turtlecreek is the largest township in the county, originally containing sixty-three whole and seven fractional sections. The population was 17,644 as of the 2020 census.
Ferry was originally called Clio. [2] The area around Clio or Ferry was settled as early as 1796. [3] A post office called Clio was established in 1849, and remained in operation until 1864. A post office called Ferry operated from 1892 until 1901. [4]
Hale Farm and Village is a historic property of the Western Reserve Historical Society in Bath Township, Summit County, Ohio, United States. It is within the boundaries of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Hale Farm was the original homestead of Jonathan Hale, a Connecticut farmer who migrated to the Western Reserve in 1810. [17]
