Dr. Two-Brains takes control and gains back his dignity by humilitating WordGirl. He shows several clips of her and Captain Huggyface being defeated, but WordGirl counters it, stating that they are all cliffhangers. Two-Brains and his henchmen continue to irk WordGirl, but while they're busy laughing she takes the opportunity to take back the show.
Theodore McCallister III's mom, Claire McCallister, a babysitter has been assigned to watch over Tobey while she goes on a business trip. Unknown to her, however, he and Becky Botsford (a.k.a WordGirl) get into a battle of words in the city on a real-live match of the game show called "Crash or Pie", she believes that Tobey is cheating (saying "unsmall" is not a word).
But Miss Power is there to take Sally Botsford away. WordGirl needs a quick plan to save her mom and get rid of Miss Power and Huggy shares a pamphlet full of secret battle moves from her home planet Lexicon. While WordGirl brushes up on that, Sally works with Fair City's villains to hold off Miss Power. Special guest star: Jane Lynch as Miss Power
To make things even worse, the show has a new judge: The Butcher. Instead of slinging sausages at WordGirl and Huggy, the Butcher is running eager contestants through a verbal meat grinder. †† - This is the second episode that uses this word, (The first was episode 25).
