My grandson found a ninja Minecraft skin that he wants by searching in Google and the image points to novaskin.me. I asked Google what novaskin is and discovered that it is a resource pack creator. Is anyone familiar with this website? Is it safe? I am very wary of visiting and downloading stuff from websites I know nothing about.
Very easy to use tool, just add your skins and save or export directly into Minecraft (W10) or use the McPack on the other Bedrock editions.
So far I've only found Nova Skin, and while it's pretty impressive for an online program, it's got a lot of weird quirks and buggy behavior. I plan to make a texture pack for mobs that might end up being a decently sized project, and I kind of want to compare other tools (if there are any) before I commit to a tool and begin working with it.
I was wondering if there was a Minecraft texture pack editing program, one easier than going into your bin folder, taking out the stuff, putting it together correctly, then wondering what some textures are in the files when your editing them. I don't care if the program is online or downloaded, I just need an easy way to make a texture pack.

Inside the villager folder, I have the completely orange skin, the default villager skin, and a villager properties file. The orange skin is named "villager2" Inside the villager properties file I have this JSON: skins.2=2. name.2=TheOrangeOne. I have no idea how to make the clothes on top of the orange skin disappear. Any suggestions?
