Six Flags Darien Lake (also known as Six Flags Darien Lake Resort and formerly known as Darien Lake Fun Country, Darien Lake, and Darien Lake Theme Park Resort) is a 1,200-acre (4.86 km 2) amusement park and resort located in Darien, New York, off of Interstate 90 between Buffalo and Rochester.
The ride name was announced to be Tantrum in November, and the park planned on an opening in May 2018. [3] The ride was recommended by the county planning board, and sent to the planning board of the town of Darien. [4] The Darien town planning board reviewed the plan on November 20, 2017, but requested further information on the site plan. [5]

Viper is a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Darien Lake amusement park in Darien, New York, United States.Built by the newly-formed Arrow Huss, the ride opened in 1982 as the first roller coaster in the world to feature five inversions, surpassing Carolina Cyclone at Carowinds which featured four.
At the end of the summer of 2006, the last year of Darien Lake being owned by Six Flags, a major re-tracking took place and some wood was replaced on the ride to help make it more enjoyable for guests. In 2001, during an earlier tracking job, part of the queue line was removed to make way for an expanded seating area for the nearby food stand.
