They handle cases involving traffic , non-traffic misdemeanors , evictions and small civil claims (in which the amount in controversy does not exceed $3,000 for small claims and $15,000 for municipal court).

Information from local historian Fred Folger indicated that an original one-room was Hopewell, 1876–1917. A new brick, four-room building for Hopewell was built in 1925.
The Lucas County Courthouse is an architecturally-significant courthouse in downtown Toledo, Ohio, located at 700 Adams Street. [2] The courthouse first opened in 1897. [3] It was designed by David L. Stine, and the contractors were Dun, Perley & Co. [4] [5] The courthouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. [2]
Graham High School was constructed in 1957, the same year that Graham Local School District was formed. There have been several major renovations to the school, including the addition of a science wing, updated offices, and a new football stadium. A $13 million renovation took place in June 2009.
Lanzinger joined the Toledo Municipal Court bench in 1985. [5] She became active with the National Judicial College in the 1980s. [6] She was elected to the Toledo Municipal Court in 1985. [4] From 1989 until 2003, she then served on the Lucas County Common Pleas Court. From 2003 until 2005 she was on the 6th District Court of Appeals. [4]
