In the Label Options dialog, for "Label vendor," select "Avery US Letter." In the "Product number" box, scroll down to 5520. Note that the numbers are sorted alphabetically rather than numerically, so you have to go down past all the 1s (even five-digit ones), 2s, 3s, and 4s to get to the 5s. Click OK to select the 5520 label.
Mailings>Envelopes and Labels>Labels tab>Options then selectPage printers and Avery US Letter from the Label vendors drop down and you will find 5160 Easy Peel Address Labels about half way down the list of labels in the Product number List Box.
Are you using an Avery template or the Word label option for an Avery 5160 format? Avery templates were developed for Word 97 and are not helpful in later versions. Which printer? Is the driver up-to-date? Which application are you using to view/print pdfs? I hope these questions help me or someone else help you. Regards . Hello!
Word 2013 in Office 365 does have the Avery 5160 template: What may be confusing is that the list is not in numeric order, but in an "alphanumeric" order. All the numbers that start with 5 come after all the numbers that start with 4, regardless of how many digits they contain.
I would like to make a page of 30 labels (3 across and 10 down) with each label containing a different word or words on it. I cannot seem to understand how to do this. I DO know how to make a whole page of one same label and cannot quite figure out how they are done differently. Thanks!
I just switched from Office 2004 and I use Avery 5160 mailing labels. I noticed that the Office 2011 labels do not have borders. The borders did not print but showed me where to put the address since I print only a couple of labels at a time. I downloaded the latest labels and also tried my old Word label. Any ideas on how to show the borders?
I am trying to print simple four line labels on an Avery 5160 label. These are used to label obituary cards that our local genealogical society maintains. There are 3 fields on the first line - last name, first name and middle name. Then I want to place date of birth on the 2nd line, date of death on the 3rd line, and obituary source on the 4th ...
To avoid having to do that in the future, DO NOT use the 5160 "template" (actually a document) downloaded from the Avery site. The Label Options dialog that Word displays when you click Start Mail Merge on the Mailings ribbon lets you select the 5160 label type, whose data is built into Word.
In the Labels dialog, type the text you want on each label. Select the text you want to format, right-click, and choose Font.... Choose the desired font, font size, and style and click OK. Repeat for the remaining text. Select the radio button for "Full page of the same label" and click New Document...
The default margins for Avery Template 5160 has somehow changed in my MS Word 2010 (Windows 10). Instead of a .5 inch top margin, the "new document" opens with a 1 inch top margin. Side margins are okay. Open Word; Click the Layout tab; Open Page Setup options; Edit the margin settings to your liking; Click "Set As Default"
