At that point it would be better to get a used premium office chair. I think the same applies for the 249€ Gruppspel. But in the end, every human is built different and it's always good to test out these chairs first. This concludes my rather negative review of the chair. I hope you liked it and I'd like to know your thoughts on the Matchspel.
BTOD and Crandall office excellent warranties for a couple hundred dollars more than an ikea and the quality/comfort of the leap is…leaps above an ikea. The mirra 2 is a fabulous chair and atlas headrest should be coming out with a Mirra 2 headrest in the fall/winter of this year, but if you’ve got wider legs are heavier, you really should ...
I went to IKEA today and tried most of the more popular office and gaming chairs including the new Styrspel as I couldn't find many reviews for this chair online whatsoever. For reference, I'm 74kg (163lb) and 180cm (5' 11") which might not be TALL tall but I mean I'm 15 so am still growing and I made sure to consider this before picking the ...
Maybe an unconventional suggestion and I’m almost an entire foot shorter than you so this one in particular might not work as well but I just got a Linneback to use as a desk chair and I love it. I have a really hard time getting comfortable in regular office chairs and couldn’t justify spending $150+ on something I didn’t know if I’d use.
My previous chair was an IKEA oldschool (10-15 years) leather office chair. I tested the HATTEFJALL at IKEA and really liked it. I was very well wrapped and supported in it (I'm 176cm and 75kilos), it was the only one in store I liked (didn't liked the Markus at all).
I've been using a $20 exercise ball as an office chair for years and I love it. When I was in Ikea a few weeks ago I checked out the Markus chair because I knew it was a Wirecutter pick. Felt like junk. The mechanism that prevents it from leaning back was noisy and seemed flimsy, and the back felt like it did not have the human back in mind.
It gets uncomfortable after a few hours, especially my lower back. I’m not sure if IKEA is the best option for office chairs under $300 CAD, but I see they have a 10 year limited warranty. I know the Markus is highly praised as a budget office chair, but I find that the mesh back chairs hurt my back after a while.
I bought Alefjall chair almost a year ago after falling in love with it at an Ikea store. I was super picky about buying an office chair because for almost 8 years I sat in probably one of the best ergonomic chairs out there. It was my ex employer, and the chair was Teknion Amicus I guess, with fabric upper, not leather. So my benchmark was high.
Not ikea, but I bought the garka and it was too tall for my kallax work station, and the other chairs I wanted were all out of stock, so I got this chair from staples and it was delivered the next day. Cheaper than this chair but VERY comfortable for the price if you can live without armrests. I use it for my craft table and I love it!
I found the perfect chair for my guest room/office setup (thanks COVID-19) - the LÅNGFJÄLL conference chair. I actually DON'T want wheels on my office chair and that is really hard to find. However, in the hour I spent deliberating and adding items to my cart - it suddenly went from available online to unavailable online.
