Bruce Herbert Glover (born May 2, 1932) is an American character actor, who is best known for portraying the assassin Mr. Wint in the James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever (1971). Other notable film appearances include roles in Walking Tall (1973), Chinatown (1974), and Hard Times (1975). He is the father of actor Crispin Glover.
In 2002, Slover's ex-husband, Michael Slover Jr., his mother Jeannette Slover, and his father Michael Slover Sr. were convicted of Karyn Slover's murder and all three were sentenced to 60 years in prison. [1] The case is notable for being one of the first instances of dog DNA used as evidence in a murder trial. [2]
David Russell Hosier (February 10, 1955 – June 11, 2024) was an American ex-soldier who was convicted of the murder of his ex-lover Angela Gilpin in 2009. Hosier had killed both Angela and her husband Rodney Gilpin out of anger due to his then girlfriend having reconciled with her husband despite their romantic relationship that lasted for years, although Hosier protested his innocence.
