Hubbard is a city in southeastern Trumbull County, Ohio, United States. It is formed from part of Hubbard Township, which was formed from the Connecticut Western Reserve. The population was 7,636 at the 2020 census. [5] [6] It is a suburb in the Youngstown–Warren metropolitan area.
Hubbard Township was established around 1806, deriving its name from Nehemiah Hubbard Jr., a Connecticut Land Company agent. [4] It is the only Hubbard Township statewide. [ 5 ]

In the center of Hubbard, specifically at the intersection of Main Street, US 62 and SR 7 break the concurrency and head north while SR 616 begins and heads south. SR 304 continues due east on Liberty Street for about 0.6 miles (0.97 km) before curving northeast and straddling the Hubbard City–Township line.
It leaves Ohio near Hubbard and enters Pennsylvania near the interchange for I-80. There is an area in Kentucky which carries the designation "Brigadier General Charles Young Memorial Historical Corridor"; after crossing the Simon Kenton Memorial Bridge, US 62 continues that designation in Ohio.
