Vamanapuram is a village in the Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala, India. [ 2 ] [ 3 ] It is the location of Shri 'Vamana', one of the ten incarnations of Maha Vishnu. The Lord Vamana temple is situated here, which is reflected in the name Vamanapuram, meaning, 'the city of the lord Vamana'.
It consists of a 11,500-square-foot (1,070 m 2), 73-foot (22 m) tall open-air temple and a 25,620-square-foot (2,380 m 2) surrounding deck.
