The Dunbar Apartments, also known as the Paul Laurence Dunbar Garden Apartments or Dunbar Garden Apartments, is a complex of buildings located on West 149th and West 150th Streets between Frederick Douglass Boulevard/Macombs Place and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard in the Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City.
This historic structure is a six-story, 138-unit, steel frame and brick building that sits on a stone foundation. Built in 1930 in the Tudor Revival style, it was created in an "H"-plan form with five sections, 84 feet, 6 inches, deep, and 328, 8 inches, wide.

The Astral Apartments is an apartment building located at 184 Franklin Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, New York City. The Astral was built in 1885–1886 as affordable housing for employees of Charles Pratt's Astral Oil Works. It is a block-long brick and terra cotta building in the Queen Anne style. [2]
In 2002, Ellicott Development Co. purchased the hotel with plans to redevelop the property into a luxury apartment building. Those plans were halted in late 2003 after a large section of roof collapsed during interior demolition work. The building again sat idle until 2013 when work resumed. The building now houses 42 market-rate apartments. [3]
