Marlow (/ ˈ m ɑːr l oʊ / MAR-loh), historically Great Marlow or Chipping Marlow, is a town and civil parish within the Unitary Authority of Buckinghamshire, England.It is located on the River Thames, 4 miles (6 km) south-southwest of High Wycombe, 5 miles (8 km) west-northwest of Maidenhead and 33 miles (53 km) west of central London.
The family business was Thomas Wethered & Sons Ltd, a brewery which operated in Marlow from 1758 [6] until it closed in 1988. [7] Remnantz has been owned by the Bosley family since 2007. [ 8 ]

Marlow Urban District was abolished under the Local Government Act 1972, with the area becoming part of Wycombe District on 1 April 1974. A successor parish was established to cover the former urban district, with its council taking the name Marlow Town Council. The town council continues to be based at Court Garden House.
