The famous architect, Latrobe built the first Greek Revival building in America. Benjamin Latrobe is credited as the father of the Greek Revival in the US.

The Reverend Jesse R. Zeigler Residence is a Frank Lloyd Wright house in Frankfort, Kentucky. The Zeigler house is the only Frank Lloyd Wright structure built in Kentucky during the lifetime of the famous architect. The design came from a chance meeting between Zeigler and Wright while both were traveling to Europe in late October 1909.
The First Presbyterian Church in Lexington, Kentucky is a historic church at 171 Market Street. The church was designed by the important Lexington architect Cincinnatus Shryock who was also an elder at First Church. The original congregational name was the Mount Zion Church, founded in 1784, making it one of the oldest churches in Lexington, KY.
