In 1958 Ford Cullis bought the property at 121–127 South Walnut Street, where the current offices are located. Plans were made for the new building. The pressroom, with a new press and a rotary press purchased from The Defiance Crescent News, was built in 1961. The entire operation was moved to its new location in October 1962.

It is located at the confluence of the Auglaize and Maumee rivers about 55 miles (89 km) southwest of Toledo and 47 miles (76 km) northeast of Fort Wayne, Indiana , in Ohio's northwestern corner.
