Maury Regional Medical Center opened as Maury County Hospital on December 16, 1953. It initially had 102 patient beds. [1] In 2023, the system announced a new construction project to expand and renovate its facilities. [2] [3]
The hospital was constructed in 1975 as part of the Indian Health Service.There were 75,000 patients in its service area of 6,000 square miles in 2011. The hospital management was transferred to the non-profit Tuba City Health Care Corporation in 2002.
