A Morgen (Mg) is a historical, but still occasionally used, German unit of area used in agriculture. [1] Officially, it is no longer in use, but rather the hectare. [1] While today it is approximately equivalent to the Prussian morgen, measuring 25 ares or 2,500 square meters, its area once ranged from 1,906 to 11,780 square meters, but usually between ¼ and ½ hectare.
