RivaTuner is a freeware overclocking and hardware monitoring program that was first developed by Alexey Nicolaychuk in 1997 [1] for the Nvidia video cards. It was a pioneering application that influenced (and in some cases was integrated into) the design of subsequent freeware graphics card overclocking and monitoring utilities.

Omega Drivers were unofficial, third-party device drivers for ATI and NVIDIA graphics cards, created by Angel Trinidad. They differed from the official drivers in that they offer more customization and extra features. They are compatible with some ATI graphics cards and some NVIDIA cards that use Detonator drivers.
The connector first appeared in the Nvidia RTX 40 GPUs. [5] [6] The prior Nvidia RTX 30 series introduced a similar, proprietary connector in the "Founder's Edition" cards, which also uses an arrangement of twelve pins for power, but did not have the sense pins, except for the connector on the founders edition RTX 3090 Ti (though not present on the adapter supplied with those cards.) Nvidia advertised DLSS as a key feature of the GeForce 20 series cards when they launched in September 2018. [4] At that time, the results were limited to a few video games, namely Battlefield V, [5] or Metro Exodus, because the algorithm had to be trained specifically on each game on which it was applied and the results were usually not as good as simple resolution upscaling.
Nvidia NVENC (short for Nvidia Encoder) [1] is a feature in Nvidia graphics cards that performs video encoding, offloading this compute-intensive task from the CPU to a dedicated part of the GPU. It was introduced with the Kepler-based GeForce 600 series in March 2012 (GT 610, GT620 and GT630 is Fermi Architecture). [2] [3]
