It would be only feasible in the future to reactive just the Sta. Mesa-Mandaluyong parts of the line and the bridge rebuilt, with possible elevated tracks on the final segment to the Guadalupe station, which links the PNR to EDSA and MRT Line 3 (the nearest stations are the Guadalupe Station in Makati and Boni Avenue Station in Mandaluyong).
