Robert Keith Ottum, known as Robert K. Ottum and Bob Ottum (June 9, 1925 – June 11, 1986) was an American sports journalist specializing in motorsport [1] and writer of science fiction and thrillers. He was editor in chief of Sports Illustrated.
Chris Ballard (born December 13, 1973) is an American sports journalist and a senior writer at Sports Illustrated.Ballard has written books on a variety of sport subjects, including Hoops Nation, which was named one of Booklist’s Top Ten Sports Books of 1998, [1] and The art of a beautiful game: the thinking fan’s tour of the NBA.
