Kyon Ki (transl. Because) is a 2005 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film written and directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Sunil Manchanda and Mukesh Talreja. It is a remake of Priyadarshan's own 1986 Malayalam film Thalavattam (1986) which in turn was inspired by the 1975 film One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest [2] [3] an adapatation of Ken Kesey's 1962 novel of the same name.
