Lewisham London Borough Council, also known as Lewisham Council, is the local authority for the London Borough of Lewisham in Greater London, England. It is a London borough council, one of 32 in London. The council has been under Labour majority control since 2010. It has been led by a directly elected mayor since 2002.

When Lewisham council took over the estate in 1965, this letter was then made void, as Lewisham council never agreed to uphold the content of this letter. Lewisham Town Hall is a municipal building in Catford Road, Lewisham, London. The oldest part of the facility, the curved former municipal offices and adjoining concert hall of 1932, is a Grade II listed building. [1] The complex also includes newer wings from the 1950s to 1970s; those serve as the headquarters of Lewisham London Borough Council.

The mayor of Lewisham is a directly elected mayor responsible for the executive function of Lewisham London Borough Council in London. The role was established in 2002 following a referendum the previous year. Damien Egan resigned the post on 10 January 2024 in order to contest the 2024 Kingswood by election. [1]
