John Newsinger (born 21 May 1948) is a British historian and academic, who is an emeritus professor of history at Bath Spa University. Newsinger is a book reviewer for Race & Class and the New Left Review. [1] He is also author of numerous books and articles, as well as studies of science fiction and of the cinema.
