The NCAA Men's Division I Indoor Track and Field Championship is an annual collegiate indoor track and field competition for men organised by the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Athlete's individual performances earn points for their institution and the team with the most points receives the NCAA team title in track and field.
The combined track and field events – indoor heptathlon for men, and athletics pentathlon for women – have been held at the NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships annually since 2004. [1]
The qualification for the 2015 World Championships and the qualification for the 2016 Summer Olympics uses single entry standards. The rules are similar to the previous A standards with up to three athletes per NOC. The requirements are generally a little lower than the old A standard but higher than the B standard.
