White Wizzard is an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, formed in 2007. They have released one EP and four albums: Over the Top released in 2010, Flying Tigers released in 2011, The Devil's Cut released in 2013, and Infernal Overdrive released 2018.

David Lee "Tex" Hill (July 13, 1915 – October 11, 2007) was an American fighter pilot and triple flying ace.He is credited with 12 + 1 ⁄ 4 victories as a squadron leader with the Flying Tigers and another six as an officer in the United States Army Air Corps in World War II.
He also appeared in many theatrical films in the 1940s and 1950s, often uncredited. He appeared with John Wayne in the war films Flying Tigers (1942), Janie (1944), in which he sings a bit of Keep Your Powder Dry with star Joyce Reynolds, and with Harry Carey in China's Little Devils (1945), another film involving the Flying Tigers.
