The Unit is an American action-drama television series created by David Mamet that aired on CBS from March 7, 2006, to May 10, 2009 with the total of four seasons and 69 episodes. The series focuses on a top-secret military unit modeled after the real-life U.S. Army special operations unit commonly known as Delta Force.
The first season of The Unit originally aired between March 7, 2006, and May 16, 2006, it introduces the members of The Unit and their families. As the season progresses various plots and story arcs are explored, such as Tiffy Gerhardt's affair with Colonel Tom Ryan and Molly Blane's mission to find the army widow who conned her out of her savings.
Jonas, Bob, and Charles return to Washington, D.C., and rendezvous with Colonel Ryan. They try to find the person responsible for the dismantling of the Unit and try to clear their name. Meanwhile Hector is being transported to a Senate subcommittee hearing to testify against the Unit and Mack is held at a secret prison.

Banchory railway station was situated on the Aberdeen and Ballater branch (the Deeside Line). It was situated at 16 miles 72 chains (27.2 km) from Aberdeen, and was the terminus of the railway from its opening on 8 September 1853 until extension to Aboyne in 1859. The branch was extended to its final terminus at Ballater in 1866.
