Made is a 1972 British drama film directed by John Mackenzie and starring Carol White and Roy Harper. [1] A young single mother has a relationship with an insecure rock star. [2] It was written by Howard Barker based on his 1970 play No One Was Saved. Mackenzie later called it "a mess". [3]
The film also stars actress/ writer Rosie Taravella who wrote the play "Pa's Funeral" on which Carlo's Wake is based. Taravella and Valerio co-wrote the screenplay together [6] and were later married in 1994. [7] Carlo's Wake, Valerio's first feature film [8] and was received with critical success. [9] [10] Valerio and Taravella divorced in 2004.
