Greenville (/ ˈ ɡ r iː n v ɪ l / GREEN-vil; locally / ˈ ɡ r iː n v əl / GREEN-vəl) is the county seat and most populous city of Pitt County, North Carolina, United States.It is the principal city of the Greenville, NC Metropolitan Statistical Area, and the 12th-most populous city in North Carolina.
After passing US 264 in the north Greenville area, NC 903 splits northeasterly from US 13/NC 11 to Stokes and then north to Robersonville which is the first original section of the route. After connecting with US 13 (third and final time) and US 64 , NC 903 goes north and merges with NC 125 and travels to Hamilton .
NC 11 begins at US 74/US 76 in the unincorporated community of Freeman. It travels north to NC 87 at Sandyfield before exiting Columbus County. [1] Soon entering Bladen County, it crosses the Cape Fear River, then travels nearly seven miles (11 km) to Long View, where it joins with NC 53 before crossing the Black River and into Pender County. This arrangement continues until Greenville, where US 264 leaves, and US 13 bisects the city on Memorial Drive, forming concurrencies with NC 43, NC 903, and NC 11. The concurrency eventually drops NC 43 and later picks up NC 33 and drops it, also dropping NC 903 before it heads northward.

In Pitt County, NC 33 meets a junction with the eastern terminus of NC 222 in Belvoir on its way to Greenville, as it crosses US 264 (exit 77), when it reaches Greenville it turns into Belvoir Highway, until it reaches US 13/NC 11/NC 903, when it reaches US 13/NC 11/NC 903, it runs south with them being Memorial Drive, and then loops south to Greene Street leaving US 13/NC 11/NC 903.
