Hibiya Godzilla Square (日比谷ゴジラスクエア, Hibiya Gojira Sukuea) is a square in Tokyo, Japan. It features the largest statue of Godzilla in the country, based on the Shin Godzilla design of the character, with an original screenplay for the 1954 film being contained within the base.
In 1995, a statue of the Heisei Godzilla was built and displayed at the Hibiya Godzilla Square, but in 2016, it was replaced by a 3-metre (9.8-foot; 300-centimetre; 120-inch) tall statue of Shin Godzilla. The Heisei Godzilla statue was moved inside the Toho Cinemas Hibiya building. [9]
The Hibiya Godzilla Square located nearby the headquarters in Chiyoda, Tokyo Toho and Shochiku competed with the influx of Hollywood films and boosted the film industry by focusing on new directors of the likes of Akira Kurosawa , Kon Ichikawa , Keisuke Kinoshita , Ishirō Honda , and Kaneto Shindo .

The ride is a crossover between Godzilla and the characters from Neon Genesis Evangelion. It features a short 17-minute film directed by Kazuhiro Nakagawa where Godzilla from Shin Godzilla battles the Evangelion units. The ride also features a new incarnation of King Ghidorah based on ShinGoji's design.
