I was kinda hoping the brake job would fix it, as then it would be a warped rotor. Was wondering if anyone had any experience getting their brakes changed at the dealership. I'm at ~41k miles now. This would be my first brake job and I was quoted $275 for brake pads, machining the rotors, and labor for just the front set. I know it would be cheaper to do this myself, but I don't have the knowledge nor the equipment.

Last night i drove my car all the way to empty with just enough gas to get me from work to the gas station. needle was on "E" now I put $10 of gas in @ $2.29/gallon. Which is about 4.5 gallons of gas. after filling the tank, turned the key on and the fuel gauge reads 1/2 full no more no less...
