Shakil Ahmed was a two star general of the Bangladesh Army and the head of Bangladesh Rifles (now Border Guard Bangladesh). He was commissioned in the Regiment of Artillery in 1976. He was a graduate of the Armed Forces Staff College, Malaysia.

Shakil Ahmed [2] is a Bangladeshi sports shooter. He won the gold medal in the 50 m pistol at the 2016 South Asian Games at Guwahati. [3] He also won a bronze medal as a member of the Bangladesh team in that event. He is a member of Bangladesh Army services team. [4]

On 27 August, the Bangladesh Football Federation banned both players for one match, while Sheikh Jamal were fined Tk 1 lakh.
