The Jules E. Mastbaum Area Vocational/Technical School (commonly referred to as the Jules Mastbaum Area Vocational High School) is a public high school in Kensington, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. [2] It is a part of the School District of Philadelphia and serves grades 9–12.
It is named after Saint Therese de Lisieux and is located in the Hunting Park section of North Philadelphia. Little Flower publishes one of the most award-winning high school newspapers in the archdiocese, The Theresian. [citation needed] Little Flower High School consists of roughly 700 girls and 7 boys.
The school board decided to rename an elementary school that had a non-person name. The Philadelphia Inquirer stated that it was likely the first school in the United States to be named after Frank, and the first school in the city with a teenager as its namesake. It is a part of the School District of Philadelphia. The school was previously named for United States President Andrew Jackson before changing the name in 2021 to honor former Philadelphia teacher Fanny Jackson Coppin. [3] The historic school building was designed by Irwin T. Catharine and built in 1924–1925.
Established in 1966, Archbishop Ryan High School is the largest Catholic secondary school in the city of Philadelphia, with a current enrollment of 848 students as of the 2023–2024 school year. Its students come from over 60 Catholic, public, and charter elementary schools located throughout Philadelphia, Bucks, and Montgomery Counties.

Joe Galasso was the first wrestler from Philadelphia to win a State Title in the 138lb weight class for wrestling.
