Recent issues of the Journal are the best guide to its stylistic and scholarly conventions, but some important points include: Use an author-title system for references to modern works. Titles of biblical and apocryphal books and Qumran documents should be in roman type; titles of pseudepigraphical books and all other titles in italics.
