This software is AMAZING it has sharpened my vocal delivery in my NON-AI music and broadened ideas for rhyme patterns and layouts. You can literally mash-up 10+ styles of music i.e "Haunting g-funk horror doom trap r&b" CRAZY! I've also compiled a list of words you cannot use: kill, razor, shoot, pussy, slut, cut, slit, die, rape, choke ...
Suno is built on open source, which I believe you can run locally if you have a Boy Scouts certificate in Python Wrestling. - Bark: Text to speech, can do vocals and lyrical performances. - Chirp: for creation of instrumental backing tracks. But I guess Suno adds some prompt/style-name juggling, a lyric generator, a lyrics/music beat-blender ...
Perfect timing really with v3.5 out so I've been playing around with it and I *think* I might have stumbled across something promising. Using this method you can: Achieve much better audio quality. Have much better control over the sound. Use artist names to sound like without any issues from moderation. Add an intro consistently to a song ...
I'm getting obsessed with Suno. As someone who sadly was never encouraged to play any intruments or sing, but adores music (I consider myself a melomaniac), Suno has been amazing and has brought me so much joy. It's just fun to play with it. I wanna share some of my results with the community. Let me know what you think :)
A year ago I went pretty deep on the AI music generators and tossed them aside in disgust thinking they would need another 5-10 years. It’s been just a year and this is 1-2 orders of magnitude better. Imagine this technology in 5 years. I think it’ll absolutely influence music and we’ll have a bunch of one hit wonders.
sort of getting there with multiple voices... I've put together a bit of a narrative story to experiment with different voices, I've burned quite a few hundred credits just rolling the RNG with various results, tweaking things here and there. most of the time, I get some sort of variation in the voices between the narrator and the characters ...
Making music with Suno feels better when you are more in a place of judging do I like this for the song or not. Versus I said say 1 2 3 and it said something else or not the way I envisioned it. Some of the stuff I like the best is the 2 minutes into a song and suno just takes the liberty to ad lib what it wants.
Ending a song with v3.5. Hey all I've been able to end songs fairly easy with v3 with a simple [Outro] or [End Song] prompt extended on the end of a song of mine that adds too much extra. The problem is I've been trying to do the same thing with v3.5 and it just keeps adding more to my song with an average of 1 minute added on tons of different ...
Very disappointed. Udio recently came out and has suno beat - wait till you see what that makes lol. As for thoughts most people just seem to be using them to make meme songs. In my experience so far, Udio sounds more interesting and creative music while Suno sounds more professional, for EDM at least.
Here's a rough example I'm working on. (Verse 1) [Sparse, distorted guitar riff; low, gritty vocals]: (D) Memories of the past, (C) they haunt us as we fight. (D) We slice and dice through hordes, (C) no mercy can be found. My experience: Results: Suno definitely picks up on the vibe of the chords.
