Just finished Fremmy exiles and halfway through DS2 piece of cake compared to Song. IIRC you shouldn't use the minimap when going through the pyramid, but rather manually click on the ground nonstop ahead of yourself. You could try avoiding the traps. Click the minimap, not on screen.
Stats would be the biggest wall, you can def do that with very very budget tho. I have similar stats, and just finished the quest. It wasn’t easy, had to invest in more expensive gear. Gears worth maybe 40 mil or more sometimes depending on the boss. I'm a teenager in summer holidays and had a quest cape.
Desert Treasure 2 is the most fun I’ve had as a casual player in years. It’s as the title says. My account is at a decent total level with almost all base 70s. I have a good enough bank as well so I don’t really struggle in that area. Where I always struggled in, was the sheer absurdity with PvM. I have just a handful of CoX completions ...
Suggestions for Desert Treasure? I'm about to take on the Desert Treasure Quest, and I was wondering what kind of combat level and gear I should have? The hardest quest I've done so far was The Fremennik Isles or Monkey Madness I, and this looks a lot harder. Currently I've got base 60 melee stats, 47 ranged, 54 magic, and 50 prayer.
1.) whisperer (most difficult, even borrowed some ancestral from a friend) 2.) leviathan 3.) vardovis (marginally easier than lev although I feel like I struggled more on vard than lev upfront) 4.) duke (haven’t actually tried duke yet, but am anticipating he’s the easiest) Reply. true.
Nature implings are a good option, magic log is 1/10 and these are the most common rare implying out there. This is what I did, plus you can pick up some miscellaneous items and do some medium clues while catching them. Took me a couple of hours to get the logs but it was quicker than woodcutting.
Lowest I've seen was lvl 98. I'm sure it's possible with boss knowledge and good gear around lvl 85 to 90. i completed it on my lvl 95 ironman. I just did it on my 84 with 75 hp and thought I was a noob for taking so many tries to kill whisperer lol.
Magic is 62, ranged is 40. Prayer is 43. As far as equipment, I have dragon boots and plateskirt, dragon chainbody, dragon med helm, an obsidian cape, amulet of glory, and combat bracelet. I'm also using a dragon defender and an abyssal whip. I don't have a ton of quests completed, and I'm not sure if there are better equips that I *should ...
Quest cape should be one of the first major goals on a fresh account. Desert treasure unlocks a lot of content and is definitely worth it to do. This counts as research. Ancient Magic’s are pretty sweet, there’s spells in that book that can do splash damage, freeze enemies, and heal yourself from the damage you deal.
